SARA requires the federal government to prepare a recovery strategy for species listed as extirpated, endangered or threatened.23 In the event that it is determined that the recovery of the species is feasible, a recovery strategy will establish the requirements to stop or reverse a species’ decline and must include a delineation of threats to the survival of the species,. [...] In addition to the supervision of all dikes in British Columbia, the Inspector of Dikes is responsible for the oversight of the operation of the diking authorities that have responsibility for the construction and maintenance of dikes in specified areas.
