Ontario's finances are faltering under the weight of its accumulated deficits. Our provincial debt is approaching $300 billion. This works out to over $22,000 per man, woman, and child. Meanwhile, nearly 600,000 Ontarians are out of work. Many sectors that were historically Ontario's strengths are now struggling. More than ever, Ontario businesses face stiff competition for investment, markets, and talent. Opportunities, however, do exist. Ontario has all the assets to secure its position as the best place in the world to work, invest, do business, and raise a family.
