Marie Introduction This report examines the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the Aboriginal population living in the census agglomeration (CA) of Sault Ste. [...] By way of comparison, Toronto had the largest Aboriginal population (26,575) of any city in Ontario, and Kenora had the largest concentration of Aboriginal people of any city in Ontario (16%). [...] In 2006, the median age4 of the Aboriginal population in Sault Ste. [...] By 2005, the gap had widened with the earnings of Aboriginal people working full-time full-year being 73% of that of non- Aboriginal full-time full-year workers (see table 7 in the appendix).
