Providing the ‘right care in the right place’ and shifting care from hospital to home and community are among the top priority areas recommended for future CFHI programming. [...] The question asked respondents to rank in order of priority a series of shared pan- Canadian priorities, where 1 is the highest priority and 9 is the lowest. [...] Driving system-level changes, helping to change organizational culture and care, and influencing that care at the direct point of care would have the greatest impact on the Canadian healthcare system. [...] These respondents highlighted that change is needed at the macro- and micro-levels of care, but that the meso-level is the “sweet spot” that carries the greatest opportunity to enact change across the system.
