This is largely due to the fact that the gasoline requirement is 2.5 times that of the distillate requirements and that the volume of gasoline affected by the requirements is larger than the volume of distillate affected by the requirements. [...] This GHG emission reductions estimate was calculated using the volumes of renewable fuels blended, the renewable fuel content in imported fuel and the volume of neat renewable fuel used or sold, as reported in Schedule 5 of the Regulations. [...] A primary supplier’s gasoline and distillate pools for a compliance period are the total volume of the batches of gasoline and distillate fuel they produce and import during that compliance period minus any volumes subtracted from the pool, discussed in section 4.2 (paragraphs 6(3) to 6(7) of the Regulations).
